Delton mens Cross Country had a great year. We were led to a a number of successfull wins this year by our coaches Dale Grimes and William Warren. Delton varsity mens scored third place at the regionial meet earning the men's team a spot at the State Finials (2009 State Finals Results). Two of our varstiy runners Ryan Watson and Brandon Humphreys qualified for state individually. At the state meet the team finished 29th place and 7th acidemic team state with a overall GPA of 3.711. Even though we didn't place the highest it was an experience of a lifetime and we will never forget it. Finishing individually Ryan Watson was 100th place and 7th acidemic all-state. Brandon finished 149th place. After the state meet the season came to an end. We are now training hard for track and are all ready for another great season in the fall. Congratulations to all of the team for an outstandiong season.
